Benson Radiology unveiled its new Playford clinic at a launch event held recently.
Almost 50 local referrers and their Practice staff had the opportunity to tour the new purpose-built facility. The clinic provides low dose CT, digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental imaging and interventional procedures.
While Benson Radiology already has existing clinics in Salisbury and Gawler, its Managing Partner Dr Andrew Wicks said the Practice was excited to continue its growth in the northern region.
“Extending our service offering in the northern suburbs has been a deliberate focus of our practice for some time,” Dr Wicks said.
“The growth that’s occurring in the northern suburbs, the fantastic relationships we have with northern referrers and the historic strength of our network have been things that we’ve genuinely valued.”
“We’re excited about opening a new clinic, but more importantly, we’re excited about the ability to work in partnership with the local referrers to provide them and their patients and excellent diagnostic imaging service.”
The clinic is located at 256 Curtis Road (corner of Curtis and Peachey Roads) and has been in operation since June.
Member for Light Tony Piccolo said it was great to see new services delivered to people living in the north, and in particular, the Playford Alive area where many young families live.
“Benson’s investment in this area is a reflection of their confidence in the ongoing growth in the Munno Para locality,” said Mr Piccolo.
“It helps local families if they do not have to travel long distances to access services.”
