Small business owners, including home based businesses in the Munno Para and Munno Para West areas are invited to come long and share their views and concerns at a business breakfast forum to be hosted by Local Member of Parliament, Tony Piccolo at 7 am on Tuesday 31 August at Enchanted Café.

Mr Piccolo said the forum will provide an opportunity for local business owners to connect with each other and collaborate to stimulate more positive business activity in the area.

“Given the impacts of COVID19 on business operations, productivity, and confidence I want to boost morale and help local business to thrive and be able to provide more local job opportunities,” said Mr Piccolo.

“We are extending the invitation to all types of businesses, including food outlets, retail, services, gyms and in particular people who operate a business from home to come out and tell us about what they do,” said Mr Piccolo.

“It will be a great networking opportunity, to build deeper and stronger relationships between local business owners.”

“I want people to raise any challenges they are facing directly with me so I can better advocate on their behalf.”

“I want to work with local business leaders, to re-charge the local economic drivers of the area, and help to re-set our local economy.”

“In some cases, it cannot be business as usual, and where possible we need to show how we can all operate in the new digital economy and society.”

“We need to ensure we understand our local strengths and how we can make them work for us.”

“By working together, we will be better placed to take advantage of Local, State and Commonwealth Government support.”

There is no cost to attend the forum where coffee and a light breakfast will be served.  Any enquires regarding the forum should be directed to Tony Piccolo’s office on 85 222 878 or via email at light@parliament.sa.gov.au.
